The story behind the Molino

The Arts District of L.A. was once home to hundreds of apparel and footwear factories/mills or "Molinos". We believe in rebuilding the local manufacturing community and employing local shoemaking artisans. Your purchase helps us give to the local charity of your choice.

Great shoes

This is my third pair. Worth the money. These shoes last and last. Look great. Still have my first pair that i use for MTB and camping. Very odor resistant. Love that they are made here in So Cal.

What a snazzy shoe!

I go the Molino in black....I think it's like the tuxedo of sneakers, works great with casual clothes but also pairs nicely with slacks. Super comfortable and sturdy-feeling. I live on the rainy Oregon coast and the Vibram soles seem to have great grip on wet concrete. Best of all the crew at Comunity Made has been a pleasure to work with and I feel great about supporting their business and charity partners. Highly recommended!

HUGE Christmas Hit!

Amazing! I got the new Men's Molinos in white for my 28 yr old brother who is always on his A+ game when it comes to style, up and coming brands, incredible craftsmanship, etc. He loved them and is already wearing them every day as his new staple. Sean and his team are fabulous to work with and the quality of the shoes is top notch, as well as the amazing design and colors.

Find Your Perfect Size


We want to help make sure that your new shoes have the best fit possible.  

We have created a separate fit for men and women to provide the ultimate foot hugging comfort.  Our sockliner and upper materials will naturally mold to your foot and stretch out after a short period of time, so do allow for this when trying our shoes on initially.

 

 In general, our shoes are running closer to an everyday shoe fit vs. an athletic shoe fit and can be worn with or without socks - but the socks have to be eye catching for best results.
